Did You Know? 
I have been playing the piano and singing since I was two years old, and I have never lost the love for music. Originally I learned to played by ear but then I took years of piano and voice lessons. As a child, I sang everything I heard and I always had a song in my head. I loved to imitate commercials, jingles, and television shows.
I grew up in Kansas, however, as a teenager I went to four different high schools in three different states. A music scholarship brought me back to the Midwest to attend The Conservatory Of Music in Kansas City, Missouri, where I was able to explore great jazz, ragtime, the blues, and opera. While in school I learned how to play the flute, violin, clarinet, guitar and even the accordion. My favorites were and still are singing and playing the piano.
I relocated to the city of Fort Worth over ten years ago to start teaching piano to students who shared my passion for music. I believe that everyone should follow their passion in life. God gives us each a gift that must be shared with the world. Cultivating a musical gift creates harmony in the soul.
